The I chose to use was construction paper,paint and a little bit of pastel for touchups.My world issue was child hunger and the effects of malnutrition for kids around the world.The project displayed the hardships that children faces by the single one image of an African child who is clearly suffering from malnutriton.The hands reaching toward the represents the desperate help children need around the world.It conveys the powerful message that on alone can’t make a difference but when a group of many are interdependent toward one another,big impacts can happen.The media I used of bright hands showed the quality of iridescence and power a group of people could have on an issue.The paint was plain but bold in order to not conflict with the main focal point of the the hexagon, the helping hands.Furthermore,the black background brushed with chalk brought the attention back to the hands and tied back to giving hope to the hungry.
