No food for those in need

My hexagon shows pictures of starving African children and what they need. The reason why I chose these images was because they display the kids in need and their appearance. It also shows what they need and those are the things that they do not have.

My issue is child starvation and this impacts the whole world for the most part. The children in Asia and Africa are starving the most. Organizations like the Feed the Children. They are trying to help the starving children in places where they do not really have that much. This is important to me because they make a difference in those children’s lives.

My work of art symbolizes this issue because my hexagon displays the things that these starving children need along with the appearance of these children who need help. This might trigger in ones mind to help out.

Children everywhere should have plenty to eat. Thanks for bringing those most affected in the world to our attention. Your artwork conveys a strong message that these children must not be forgotten.
Fantastic job!!!!!!

This is a very important issue, and you portrayed it well in your artwork. I hope you participate in the Walk Against Hunger this year!

I teach with Emily Cook in a Chicago suburban school. While my students have learned about global issues in the past, this project allowed them to see that these are not problems that people in other places in the world have to deal with, but rather, that these are world problems, and since we all have a civic responsibility to the world, these are our problems too.
