Cries for Freedom

Filip P

Human trafficking is an issue that many people are blind about. This issue occurs not only in the U.S. but also in many other countries, mainly in the Middle East and some African countries. Many innocent people are being kidnapped and tricked into the life of a slave. When we look at people we see people, those who take part in human trafficking see property and a profit. This is important to me because I believe that humans shouldn’t be treated as property and it is wrong. I know that I would never want to be sold as a slave and be forced into labor and sex. For my Hexagon I made a collage of photos showing the pain and suffers of those involved in human trafficking. Along with the quote “The cry of equality pulls everyone down” from Iris Mudoch. This quote is showing that when others aren’t treated equally, everyone is affected and feels their pain. To symbolize my issue I made all of my pictures black and white. This shows that human trafficking is a depressing and dark issue. It’s not something happy and colorful. I also wrote the words Pain and Suffer. To symbolize the feelings that victims of human trafficking feel.

I like how you said "those who take part in human trafficking see property and a profit." I like this because it shows how cruel these people are.

You really did a great job depicting your issue by using pictures that were all the same theme- hands, chains. Great job!
