Water Works!

Lack of water in Africa has been an issue for years. Thanks to the UN (United Nations) and programs like “The Water Project” are acting to help out and put wells into small villages in Africa like I show in my hexagon. This is a positive solution to this issue because we need to put more wells and water pumps into African small villages so they dont have to drink contanimated water. 50,000-100,000 people are affected from this clean water drought that Africa sufferes from. Its not just Africa that suffers; many other places around the world have this same problem, such as, Central America. Countries here have been suffering from this problem for years as well. With our progress now we can hopefully reach our goal and have countries around the world have clean water.

I made my hexagon the way it is because of the issue. I have a picture of a water pump and a bucket to symbol a water well giveing clean water to a man who would have to walk miles to a river for water but not when he have a fresh new well to drink from right in the center of there village. I used gold and blue foil paper to represent that water is like gold. We hope to put more wells into villages on Africa.
