War has taken the lives of many Americans. From the U.S. Civil War to now, it has taken the lives of millions of people. War doesn’t just affect the soldiers and troops, it affects their families. I know this because my cousin Patrick is there now. He is in 173rd Airborne, we miss him so much. I have noticed his dad, my uncle, is not the same. Seeing this makes me want to know more and how people are helping. USO helps troops, they send gift packages, cellphones to call home, gaming systems and thats not all. USO offers a lot of programs to get involved with. Their motto is, “Until Every One Comes Home.”

For my hexagon I drew an American Flag. This symbolizes war. To complete my hexagon I used markers and star stickers.
