STOP Terrorism

In Global Perspectives we did a project about global issues, and I chose terrorism. I think that terrorism is the most important issue in the world today because many people each year are being killed due to the selfish acts of the terrorists. The United States is not the only country that has been impacted by terrorism. Many countries in the Middle-East like Syria and Israel have been affected by a group called Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda was led by Osama Bin Laden until Navy Seals killed him in May 2011.
My hexagon is important to me because it represents the terrorist attack on the United States on 9/11. Many innocent people were killed that day because of terrorism so it needs to stop. That is why I put the STOP sign in front of the plane that was going to smack into the Twin Towers.
The media I used to create my hexagon is pencils and colored pencils. I put the Twin Towers on the Hexagon because it is the most famous act of terrorism that has happened to the United States in the past decade. I used grey and a bluish grey because those colors are very dreary and I think that, that day is not a happy day so it should not have bright colors.
