Stop Racism for Good

The reason I picked the topic of racism is because I know that this is a giant world issue. 20% of every 100,000,000 people are affected by racism. Racism is exists in a lot of countries, as well as the United States which is one of the biggest “melting pots” in the world. Therefore, discrimination is one of the biggest issues for people of different races everyday. This topic is important to me because I feel that everybody should be treated equally, no matter what race they are.

The media I used to create my hexagon was printouts from the internet, glitter, and cardstock paper. I used these different materials to describe my view on racism. I put a cutout of the earth on my hexagon with “multi-ethnic” people surrounding the border of it. This represents how people should all accept who others are and not be racist. We should all be treated equally, which is how I view the topic of racism. Hopefully one day we will come together and forget about differences.
