We need to stop starvation. Hunger is the number one health risk that takes 25,000 people’s lives every day. One in seven people worldwide go to bed hungry. People all around the World are hungry. Everywhere from India to your own neighborhood, people are going hungry. Although it can happen anywhere, most starvation happens in India and other developing countries. Starvation has gotten so bad in developing countries that one in four children are underweight. I believe that no one should go through starvation and that the world as a whole needs to make more of an attempt to help out. In my hexagon, I used black and white pictures in the back to symbolize the sadness of starvation and to show how serious it is. I also painted “stop hunger” across the front because it is very important that we take steps to stop hunger. I did each letter in a different symbol to show different things. For example, i did a ying-yang sign as an o to show that no matter how different we are, we can work together and make a difference. I hope that in the near future, everyone will be working together to end hunger around the world.

Your Hexagon looks cool with the red letters and the grey background

Your hexagon is so good! I love how you bordered the hexagon in rice, and i liked how you wrote stop hunger in a different color to draw attention to it.

Good job on your hexagon. The artwork is beautiful and I think it really gets the horrible aspect of hunger across.
