My hexagon is about endangered animals. An animal that is endangered is likely to become extinct. Once an animal species is gone, it is gone forever. This creates a huge dent in the food chain. Endangerment is a big problem. Twenty percent of known Mammal species are thought to be threatened or endangered. Some animals that have been saved from endangerment are the Bald Eagle, Florida Panther, Gray Wolf, and the Grizzly Bear. Endangered animals go under federal protection. These animals are protected by not being aloud to be traded or sold. Organizations that help endangered animals are the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF), the Nature Conservancy, and the Nation Wildlife Federation (NWF).

I think that people need to be more aware of this issue. We can stop hunting the animals and be careful to keep the environment clean for them. I drew different animal prints of animals that are endangered. My hexagon shows that people should stop being careless and take care of their environment because it affects the animals. Save the endangered animals!

I love how you drew all of the different animal prints of endangered animals. I also liked how you made a crossword puzzle out to different words that are relevant to this situation. Nice job!!

I like how you included the many different animals. It shows that there is violence against every animal and that it should be stopped.

I like how you used different animal prints instead of just showing one animal. Good job!
