Hunger is a world wide issue not just a problem overseas. In America we too suffer from hunger. In America one in every six people suffer from hunger. In Africa hunger is the most prevalent in the world that is why I depicted Africa in my hexagon. This issue is important to me because I have realized that people everywhere are suffering from this and some people are far worse off then we all are.

The media I used to create my hexagon was pictures of starving African children and white rice. I chose to cover the content of africa with rice to symbolize hunger and then picture surrounding the content to show how africa is surrounded by hunger and how the rest of the world could soon become like africa consumed by hunger.

I like how you used small grains of rice to represent Africa because that is all that a lot people have to eat in several countries there.

I really liked that even though you depicted the starving children in Africa, you connected the issue to the United States and the rest of the world.
