Animal Abuse really touches me. People can actually hurt and abuse animals and really not care at all. I can't even imagine about doing that. I think that if we can start a chain reaction, starting with this, we may be able to put a stop to animal abuse. It's my dream to put a stop to it so hopefully it will.

I really like how the dog looks sad. It gets the picture and the meaning through.

    I teach with Emily Cook in a Chicago suburban school. While my students have learned about global issues in the past, this project allowed them to see that these are not problems that people in other places in the world have to deal with, but rather, that these are world problems, and since we all have a civic responsibility to the world, these are our problems too.
